Responsibilities of the Substitute Teacher will include but are not limited to:
- Treat students and staff as needed to address health and wellness needs
- Consult with teachers, school administrators and other school staff regarding student care
- Administer medication as prescribed to students
- Help students who have feeding disabilities
Qualifications for Health and Wellness Coordinator
- Knowledge of school laws and policies
- Ability to work independently or with others
- BLS/CPR certification
- Knowledge of state health regulations

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid technical skills and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher.

- Ability to work autonomously as well as take direction as needed.
- A cheerful and welcoming demeanor.
- Maturity, humility, strong work ethic, sense of humor, and a “whatever it takes” disposition.
Educational Background and Work Experience
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Knowledge of many areas of health including mental health
